Scientific Name: Butia Capitata        USDA Hardiness Zone: (7B-) 8A-10B; no damage at 14 degree F

The Pindo Palm is the hardiest feather-leaf palm currently in cultivation. It is used as a specimen palm, and instantly makes a stunning impact in the landscape. Its performance is best above USDA Hardiness Zone 10B, and is hardy into the Carolinas.The best quality pindo fruits are sweet, and makes a tasty jelly.
